Interview With Mercury444F: Dominion Online Quarterfinalist

This interview has been edited for clarity.

Beyond Awesome: What do you think was your toughest match?

Mercury444F: DG`s game because it was the only race in the seventh round.

Beyond Awesome: Tell us a little about yourself. How old are you, where are you from, what do you do?

Mercury 444F: I am 22 years old. I am from Japan. I am a university student.

Beyond Awesome: How did you get into Dominion?

Mercury444F: I was invited by a friend.

Beyond Awesome: Most feared opponent on Dominion Online?

Merucry444F: stef and yudai214

Beyond Awesome: What are your favorite and least-favorite Dominion cards, and why?

Mercury 444F: My favorite card is Remodel because I like trash and gain. Remodel is the most balanced of this type. There are a lot of cards I dislike, but what I dislike the most are Minion, Urchin and Swindler.

Beyond Awesome: What are your initial impressions of Nocturne, the newest Dominion expansion?

Mercury444F: I think that Hexes are weak and I want to practice with the new cards.

Beyond Awesome: What advice do you have for Dominion players looking to get better?

Mercury444F: Let’s read GOSICK.

Beyond Awesome: Finally, who do you think is going to win the Championship?

Mercury444F: I guess it is the strongest person.
